STRAWBERRY MOONSHINE

INGREDIENTS
4 cups sugar
12 cups of water
4 cups fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 pints of strawberry purée
5 cups of 190 proof Everclear
DIRECTIONS

Stir water and sugar in pot on low heat until completely dissolved.

Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Wash and pat dry strawberries and dice.

Take diced berries and place in blender. Purée until smooth.

Mix strawberry purée and lemon juice to sugar water. Add Everclear and stir well.

Strain liquor mix and make sure to remove the pulp.

Pour into mason jars and let sit in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or longer.
