STRAWBERRY MOONSHINE

INGREDIENTS

4 cups sugar

12 cups of water

4 cups fresh lemon juice

1 1/2 pints of strawberry purée

5 cups of 190 proof Everclear

DIRECTIONS

  • Stir water and sugar in pot on low heat until completely dissolved.

  • Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

  • Wash and pat dry strawberries and dice.

  • Take diced berries and place in blender. Purée until smooth.

  • Mix strawberry purée and lemon juice to sugar water. Add Everclear and stir well.

  • Strain liquor mix and make sure to remove the pulp.

  • Pour into mason jars and let sit in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or longer.
